| Description: For riders with moderate experience who would like to ride with instruction and hack independently on the flat. Riders must be capable of walking, trotting and cantering. The class will stress communication with the horse through both instruction and independent riding. Principles of hunt seat equitation, western and dressage style riding will be explored as well as tangential topics such as longe-ing, bareback, green horse training, in hand work, and the fundamentals of teaching riding. |
