| Description: In this course, we will take a leap back in time to the origins of life, discuss the evolution of major organismal lineages, and investigate biological processes that influence the biodiversity we observe today. Through lectures and in-class discussions, students will explore fundamental biological concepts at different scales through the lens of biodiversity. In lab, students will gain foundational skills in biology and will have hands-on experience with scientific inquiry and scientific writing. |
