However, edition 5 or the Global Edition will work well for our class and it can be easier to find used copies of these editions. There is the option to rent the textbook. It is also not required that you purchase the book before the start of the semester. I suggest that you wait until the first class and I we can talk about alternatives to purchase the textbook.
