Description: This course serves as an introduction to quantitative analytical chemistry and measurement. Topics to be covered include: aqueous statistical and error analysis, titrimetric and gravimetric analysis, and sample preparation techniques. In the laboratory, students will apply techniques covered in lecture to quantitation of a variety of analytes, and they will also learn the fundamentals of method development and optimization.
