Instructor's comments about the book list: I will provide scans in the first week until everyone who wants to purchase the texts has time to. Copies of the texts will be provided in the physics lounge and on reserve at the library. Griffiths is available for less as a paperback, and used copies should be available. Any edition will be okay.
