| Instructor's comments about the book list: We will use the 7th edition of this textbook. You can find an e-text for the 6th version of the textbook at https://archive.org/details/calculusSingleAndMultivariable. The library has 3 physical copies of the 7th edition of the textbook on library reserve under QA303.2 .H845 2017. The library also has a copy of the e-text available at https://ebookcentral.proquest.com/lib/mtholyoke/detail.action?docID=64 88459. A physical copy of the book is not required. If you decide to purchase the textbook, then you may purchase an earlier edition (3,4,5,6, or 7). However, make sure you purchase the Single Variable textbook (or single AND multivariable). Do not purchase the standalone multivariable version or a student manual. All the books look the same and it is confusing. Right now there are several used copies of edition 6 online for $7 (ebay etc) and on Amazon for $22-$27. |
