Additional Book Comments
This is NOT the complete book list for this class.
Instructor's comments about the book list: Please note that the author of Defining Women's Scientific Enterprise is Miriam Levin (not Levine). This book is required reading, but optional for purchase. For Rampolla, the price listed here is for the electronic version; the list price for the print version is $33.99. Other recent editions are also a fine alternative. Hartley's collection of Mary Lyon's writings contains a number of documents we will read, so you may find it convenient to have the book, but note that the documents are also available online at the Mount Holyoke College Archives and Special Collections website. No other books will be added to this list, but further information about the books may be forthcoming.
